Planned service. Appointments are not yet open.

Worcester Men’s Health plans to offer evaluation of possible testosterone deficiency and ongoing testosterone replacement therapy, or TRT, for eligible patients. Appointments and treatment are not yet available.

An evaluation comes first

Testosterone deficiency is diagnosed using relevant symptoms and consistently low laboratory results. Morning testing may need confirmation, and the cause requires assessment. A symptom quiz cannot determine whether TRT is appropriate.

The planned evaluation will review your history, available records, treatment goals and any testing the clinician determines is needed. It may lead to a recommendation for TRT, another approach, further evaluation or referral.

Discuss benefits, risks and alternatives

Before any treatment decision, the clinician should explain the expected benefit for your situation, important risks and the monitoring involved. Fertility plans matter because testosterone treatment can reduce sperm production.

An evaluation is not a promise of improved performance, a specific laboratory target or a prescription.

Initial evaluation and testing

The diagnostic evaluation will be a separate professional service. The initial evaluation is planned to take place in person; the location has not been confirmed and will be published before appointments open. Initial diagnostic laboratory testing will be billed directly to you by the laboratory or other identified testing provider.

Testing requirements and costs will be explained before you proceed. Do not arrange or purchase a website-generated test panel as a substitute for a clinician’s assessment.

The planned ongoing membership

For patients accepted into ongoing TRT care, the intended membership will include defined clinical management, eligible medications and supplies, and clinically necessary monitoring within the approved benefit schedule.

The monthly fee and exact benefit schedule are still being finalized. The agreement will explain eligible products, how testing and medication are supplied, outside costs, communication, cancellation and refunds. Psychiatry will be billed separately.

What enrollment will mean

Enrollment will follow clinical review and your agreement to the care plan and terms. Ongoing treatment requires appropriate follow-up. Paying a fee does not make a treatment clinically appropriate or guarantee that a particular medicine will be prescribed.
