FAQs
Questions about Worcester Men’s Health
Planned service. Appointments are not yet open.
Is the practice open?
Not yet. Worcester Men’s Health is preparing to open. Clinical appointments, patient intake, treatment and membership enrollment are not currently available. Availability will be announced on this website after the practice is ready.
What services are planned?
The planned focus is adult psychiatric evaluation and medication management, and a separate testosterone evaluation and ongoing TRT pathway for eligible patients. Additional treatment services have not been announced.
Is psychiatric care only for men?
No. Planned adult psychiatric care is for adults of all genders, with a particular focus on men’s mental health. Appointments are not yet available.
Can sleep problems be discussed?
Insomnia and sleep-related concerns may be discussed and evaluated as part of a planned adult psychiatric assessment. Some sleep concerns need further medical evaluation or referral. This is not a sleep medicine service, and the practice is not accepting patients yet.
Must I receive both psychiatry and TRT?
No. They are separate services with separate clinical decisions and fees. A TRT membership will not be required for psychiatric appointments.
Does paying for an evaluation guarantee treatment?
No. The fee pays for the professional evaluation provided. The findings may support treatment, further assessment, another approach or referral. A particular diagnosis or prescription is not guaranteed.
Will psychiatric care require a subscription?
No psychiatric subscription is planned. Initial evaluations and follow-up visits will have separate fees. Final prices and any outside costs will be stated before booking opens.
What will the TRT membership include?
The intended membership includes defined clinical management, eligible medications and supplies, and necessary ongoing monitoring. The exact benefit schedule and monthly fee remain under development. Initial diagnostic evaluation and initial laboratory testing are separate.
Are all laboratory tests included?
No. Initial diagnostic testing will be billed directly to you. Clinically necessary ongoing TRT monitoring is planned within the membership; unrelated testing is separate. The final schedule will explain testing and collection arrangements. Ask for the applicable testing price before you proceed.
Is testosterone appropriate whenever someone feels tired?
No. A clinician must assess the symptoms and test results before deciding whether testosterone treatment is appropriate. A website checklist cannot make that decision.
Will visits be available by telehealth?
Suitable Massachusetts telehealth options are planned, but the exact arrangements are not yet confirmed. Your physical location and the clinical suitability of a remote visit matter. Some care may require an in-person visit. Psychiatric visits are planned primarily by telehealth; the initial testosterone evaluation is planned in person at a location not yet confirmed.
Do you accept insurance, Medicare or MassHealth?
The practice is developing a self-pay model. Final insurance participation and restrictions for particular coverage arrangements will be explained before booking or payment. Do not assume that a self-pay arrangement is available for every patient or service.
Can I send medical records or ask for a refill now?
No. There is no active WMH clinical intake or refill service during prelaunch. Continue to use your current treating clinician’s instructions. Do not send health information through this website or ordinary email.
Can I join an interest list?
An interest-list service is not currently offered. Opening information will be posted here. An interest registration, if offered later, will not be an appointment, clinical intake or acceptance into care.
What if I need urgent help?
For immediate danger or a life-threatening emergency, call 911. In the United States, call or text 988 for suicidal thoughts or emotional crisis. Do not wait for a website reply or for the practice to open.
