Planned service. Appointments are not yet open.
Worcester Men’s Health plans to offer evaluation of anxiety and depression as part of its adult psychiatric service. The practice is preparing to open.
Start with an assessment
Persistent anxiety or depression can affect work, relationships and daily activities. An evaluation helps clarify the concern and the kind of support that may be appropriate.
The planned appointment will provide time to discuss your experiences, previous care, medications and goals. The clinician may recommend further information or another assessment before reaching a conclusion.
Discuss the available options
Depending on the findings, treatment discussions may include medication, psychotherapy or a combination. The practice’s planned service is psychiatric evaluation and medication management. Regular psychotherapy is not currently an advertised WMH service; outside therapy may involve a separate provider and fee.
If medication is considered, ask about the intended benefit, important risks, alternatives, monitoring and follow-up. Treatment should be reviewed over time rather than treated as a one-time purchase.
Clear practical expectations
Psychiatric visits will be billed individually. Fees, visit types and communication arrangements will be available before booking opens. A TRT membership will not be required to receive psychiatric care.
